Seagate Central Nas Default Password

The Seagate Central NAS drive has a console in which you can make the necessary drive changes. By default, the console is protected with a password, and you have to input the right Username and Password to access the Seagate Central web interface.   1. Turn on your router and connect the Seagate NAS to the network.
  2. Also, connect a computer to the same network and wait until the system detects the drive.
  3. When the drive is detected, you can find the Seagate icon in the system tray of the computer.
  4. Right-click the Seagate drive icon, select the Seagate device name, and choose Web Access.
  5. Now, the Seagate Central login page will open on a new browser window.
  6. In case the Seagate drive icon does not appear, but the drive is detected on the system, then open the web browser window.
  7. Type the web address of the Seagate NAS drive login page or the Seagate drive’s IP address and press Enter.
  8. Once you enter the Central login page, enter the default Username and Password to access the drive’s web console.
  9. Both default Username and Password – admin 
  10. If you did change the password earlier, then make sure to use that password to access the console.
  11. In case you do not remember the password, there is also a solution for it. You can find the Forgotten your password? link on the login page.
  12. The software prompts to enter the verification word and click the Send button to send an authentication email.
  13. Following that, open your email account linked to your Seagate NAS drive and open the authentication email message.
  14. Select the Click Here link. Now, you will be guided to another web page where you have to enter the login username and the new password.
  15. After filling in the details, click Send.
  16. Restart the Seagate drive to apply the changes.
